Rapid Rescue Lifesaving Club

Rapid Rescue Lifesaving Club “Lifesaving is possibly one of the most demanding, multi-disciplined sports in the world today, offering enjoyment, learning, service and job opportunities.” We are a non-profit life-saving club that teaches kids how to perform water rescues in pools, dams, rivers and the sea. Water centered First Aid is part of the training. Once the kids are fully qualified, they can volunteer to assist at events as Life Guards. They earn ‘recognition’ for the hours they patrol. Adding to this we hold Lifesaving Galas from time to time where the Lifeguards are given the opportunity to show off their skills whilst going up against other Lifesaving Clubs from around SA.
