The fishing takes place - in dams (Trout, bass, kurper & carp) - and the river (Yellow fish and bass). The fly-fishing and bass fishing lesson are fun and will be enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Day Fishing Access Oxbow Country Estate - Advance booking recommended - Come enjoy a day out and fish on four to six pristine dams. Open on Wed,Sat,Sun and public holiday. Closed 22 Dec to 7 Jan. - Light fishing menu and drinks available from the kiosk. - Order a picnic basket to enjoy at the dams (min 18 guests). - Food and drinks cannot be brought onto the property unless a resident - Limit of 30 fishers per day Oxbow is 4 star and offers comfortable luxury accommodation and conference facilities. There is a self catering and camping option close-by. Six pristine fishing dams stocked with rainbow/brown trout, bass, carp and vlei kurper. Guests can bring a camp chair or picnic blanket and find a spot with manicured grass in a secluded shady spot next to the dams and relax. Their is lots of space for kids and they can - ride their bikes, - search for animal tracks - enjoy the playground. Day Fishing Access @ Lanseria Country Estate Advance booking recommended - Come enjoy a day out and fish on the two dams. Open from Monday-Sunday and public holidays. - Meals and drinks available from the restaurant - Order a picnic basket to enjoy at the dams - Food and drinks cannot be brought onto the property unless a resident - Limit of 10 fishers per day Lanseria Country Estate is 3 star with comfortable accommodation (catered & self catering), restaurant, fly-fishing museum and conference facilities. The two fishing dams stocked with rainbow/brown trout, bass, carp, blue kurper and barbel. Guests can relax and sit at the picnic tables or deck around the dam. Their is lots of space for kids and they can - ride their bikes, - kick a ball on the soccer pitch or - enjoy the playground. Fishing Lessons for Young and Old We also offer fishing lessons for leisure and corporates at Oxbow and Lanseria as well as a number or other quality venues where we are a preferred activity supplier.
