Our daughter recently visited The Wooden Spoon Kitchen for a week long cooking bootcamp with fabulous results during the August holidays. She has become more active in our kitchen, has learned about knife safety and the importance of a balanced diet. Ankie has taught the girls so many recipes, we were amazed with the skills our daughter brought back! I can recommend The Wooden Spoon Kitchen to every parent who needs a young chef in the kitchen!

We had our daughter Ingrid’s 9th birthday party at ‘The Wooden Spoon Kitchen’ on the 4th of March 2016. Ten girls cooked their hearts out whilst the moms had a chance to relax in a beautiful, peaceful garden setting. The girls loved it & went home with their delicious meals & recipe packs. The Nutella brownies were a hit and I’m sure it is going to become one of Ingrid’s go-to recipes! Thanks for all the personal touches & for making it such a special day.

Ankie is a wonderful person. She is incredibly well organised. Her Masterchef parties are a work of art, she will do well in this field.

We as a family wanted to thank you so much for a really special birthday. You had so many personal touches and really made it special. You opened up your home and made it a memorable day for all. The feedback from the Moms was that their daughters had an amazing time, learnt a lot and have started cooking at home… long may it last! Thank you for the beautiful cake-you are very talented. We loved the personal note on the board, the attention to detail, and then finally the gift for Jess which distinguishes you from the rest-the muffin mix and plastic moulds, thank you! And that the kids could play in a natural surrounding! We are so glad we chose your place over all the other 100 places out there- thank you once again!
