Constitution Hill in Braamfontein We believe in offering an informed and engaging experience related to Constitutionalism, Human Rights and Democracy, therefore we strive to further develop the precinct. We use our resources wisely and sustainably to provide professional and excellent service in preserving and promoting Constitution Hill. Children's room Constitution Kids is a project developed especially for children enabling them to learn more about democracy, their rights and responsibilities. The project was stopped due to funding constraints. The plan is to upgrade the room and the programme and begin running it again to ensure that children from a young age are introduced to the constitution and especially the Bill of Rights and learn about Rights, Responsibilities and Respect. Objectives: To create a safe, interactive and fun environment for children to learn about Constitutionalism, Democracy and Human Rights. Goals: Children that can read and write (literate) Children that are Constitution, Human rights and Democracy wise. Tours Nowhere can the story of South Africa's turbulent past and its extraordinary transition to democracy be told as it is at Constitution Hill.
